3D MODELING + TEXTURING + GROOMING

THE SURVEY ROBOT

BREAKDOWN

ARCTIC BOND | FINAL PROJECT AT VFS

For my final animatic film Arctic Bond in Vancouver Film School, I created the polar bear model as a powerful representation of resilience and survival in a post-apocalyptic world. It contrasts with the human technology around it, reinforcing the tension between man and nature in the story.

MODELLING + TEXTURING

Maya | Zbrush | Substance Painter

For my final animatic film Arctic Bond in VFS, I modeled the Survey Robot, a quadrupedal machine built for searching wild animals in extreme environments in Maya. Equipped with advanced sensors, this robot ensures precise data collection and navigation. Its integrated defense system, featuring mounted guns, provides protection in dangerous encounters, while its remote-controlled functionality allows for human oversight in high-risk areas. It was a nice experience to make this hard-surface prop and it helped me to develop my hard surface modelling skills.

For the texturing phase, I used Substance Painter. I used Maya MASH to scatter and create the frosting effect on the robot.
